Is Cupping painful?
No!!!! The cups create a suction on the skin. This is quite a relaxing treatment and may feel little tight on intial application but once the cups have relaxed the muscles this is such a relaxing treatment.
if there is a great deal of stagnation/toxins in the area it is possible to be a little tender on the first day after treatment although most patients are ususally the opposite and feel less pain.
Please dont be put off by the cupping marks. they are not bruises and and number of celebrities are now showing off their cupping marks. The more darker the mark the more work the cups have done.
What is your cancellation policy?
At SUT we are committed to providing all of our patients with exceptional levels of care. When a patient cancels without providing sufficient notice as detailed below they prevent another patient from receiving treatment
As small and local independent clinic cancelations mean we have lost income for the appointment that was booked, if the appointment is filled then we may have incurred additional market costs. If the appointment slot remains vacant, we still have overheads to cover
We appreciate that sometimes life can happen and we have an understanding of this which is why we accept cancellations with notice in excess of 24 hours with free re arrangement for the future

We appreciate that given the current COVID-19 global epidemic some of our patients might not be able to attend appointments for COVID-19 related issues, such as if you have experienced symptoms or have been contacted by Track and Trace and are required to self-isolate, as a goodwill to all our patients at this time we will waive the cancellation policy should it be due to COVID-19 related issues.

This is probably our most commonly asked question or the one we find our clients initially have the biggest reservations about, we get it, most people think ‘needle’ and imagine something horrific.
What if we told you that an acupuncture needle in most cases are approximately the diameter of a single strand of hair, nothing like what you see in a doctors surgery.
You may just feel a little scratch as the needle is inserted. Once your treatment is in progress and needles in place, you will feel very relaxed, many of our clients enjoy the calm in clinic and fall asleep
All needles are single use and sterile.
